Your teenage years see you make your best and worst decisions. They seen you learn more things about life than you could ever have learnt at school.

The following list contains 18 things that you need to know (if you don't already yet) about life and coming from an expert in mistakes, these will defo help you do life.

Have a read...

1. Using a foundation three shades darker than your skin will NOT I repeat will NOT make you look like a bronzed goddess who's just come back from a 3 week holiday to some exotic location. In actual fact it'll make you look like a wotsit with hair.

2. Drinking on an empty stomach is not a good idea - well unless you want to be sick and stain your cream carpet, best have dinner before going out babes.

3. There's nothing chocolate can't cure. If you're sad or angry or hormonal (or all of the above) then chocolate is the answer. Snuggle under a blanket with a family sized bar of choc for one and consume all in one sitting. Go drown your sorrows in the heavenly brown stuff.

4. Bra straps and VPL (Visible Pant Lines) are not meant to be seen under any circumstances.

5. Self-tan back applicator really does exist and should be used when you don't have giraffe like arms or no family member to help you.

6. You can't go wrong with Primark's EXTREME BOOST PUSH UP XXXL CLEAVAGE bra for when you need that extra bit of help.

7. It's okay to only shave and fake tan your ankles when wearing cigarette trousers or any other 3/4 length trouser.

8. H&M's Heavy Leggings are only £7.99 and are one of the only pairs of leggings on the highsteet that do not reveal to the world what colour thong you are wearing when you bend over and do not go see-through no matter how many times you wash them.

9. A hug makes everything better. Whether you're giving or receiving a hug, embrace it with open arms and enjoy the moment.

10. You don't need to be a size 6 to be happy.

11. Two weeks into a Zara sale everything is reduced to £5.99 or less, so if you can wait two weeks after the sale has started, I can guarantee you that you'll be able to find some megz cheap beauties for under 6 quid. It's all about patience guys.

12. Don't give sh*t about what people think about you - do you and get on with living the fabulous life that you do.

13. Always listen to your Mum, even if you don't agree with her at the time she actually always knows what's best for you.

14. Big things that are bugging you right now will be so minuscule by this time next week that you will have probably forgotten about them and how much you were worried.

15. The majority of celebs IG photos have been photoshopped so don't woz if you don't look like Kylie Jenner or Bey because in real life, they don't even look like their Instagram-selves.

16. If in doubt, flowers and a thoughtful card make a fab bday prezzie.

17. It's okay to not shave your legs for three months if you're single.

18. You can't please everybody AND WHO CARES ANYWAY.

Pretty fitting for back to school, right?

This ones for me and my girl Scarlett, a.k.a. the biggest stationery obsessives you'll ever meet and here are 37 other telltale signs that prove you really are obsessed with stationery...

1. Whenever WHSmith, or Staples or any other stationery selling shop has a sale you get a *bit* giddy and may end up spending half of your months wages.

2. You buy so many pretty notebooks that you don't end up ever using them because omg the pages are so crisp you can't damage those beauties.

3. When the first day of every new school year rolled around you were so excited so you could use all your new stationery.

4. Buy 1 Get 1 Free across all stationery?! COME TO MUMMA.

5. The stationery aisle is the first aisle you visit when going into any supermarket.

6. You get emotionally attached to pens and pencils and rubbers and sharpeners and pencilcases and well, you get the idea.

7. You just can't deal with the stress of lending someone one of your pens because you know you'll NEVER get it back, so you lie and say you have none (when really they know you have the whole of Smiths in your bag).

8. Losing a pen is like losing a child.

9. You don't have the guts to throw away stationery even if it's broken or run out.

10. You've owned every kind of pencilcase ever invented.

11. The pouch, the three-parter, the hard shell and even the one shaped like a sausage dog.

12. You have your own board on Pinterest dedicated to stationery.

13. Fresh felt tip pens. Need I say anymore.

14. SMELLY PENS!!!!!!!!!

15. Knowing that TK Maxx sell the top of the range you-can't-get-this-anywhere-else kind of stationery for when you and your bank balance are feeling extra fancy.

16. When people say they re-use all their stationery from the previous year *gasp* BISHHH WHETTT

17. The first page of a fresh notebook is like writing on the palms of Jesus - so pure and clean.

18. To you, Post-it notes are the epitome of stationery porn.

19. Did someone say free pens??!!?!??!?!

20. That post Back2School stationery sale is bacially an early Christmas.

21. Sharpening pencils until they have the perfect point is a skill that you've perfected over the years.

If you can relate to any of the above then I'm afraid to say, welcome to the stationery lovers club HIYA!!!

I'm back with my first Friday Faves since my absense and boy have I missed it.

I've missed rounding up my faves from the week to share with you what I've recently been loving or have rekindled my love for. So I thought I'd jump back into the weekly routine and give you a bumper special of a Friday Faves and give you a good'en this week to enjoy.

Here it is...

1. Nakd Nibbles Coconut Bliss

I thought I'd kick it off with some food because well, who doesn't love food. I found these beauties in Boots and they taste delish. They're the perfect little snack to keep you going throughout the day and they're not even *that* bad for you. They're gluten, wheat and dairy free and a whole load of superfood just simply smooshed together in little brown shaped balls (lol I promised they taste SO much better than I'm describing them).

I've mentioned the salted caramel ones here before and explained how much I loved them and these are just the same and just as yummy.

I'm pretty sure most supermarkets stock them so go and pick up a packet cos they really are delish.

Oh and soz for no actual photo of them, I was so peckish that I just had to eat them.

2. MAC Velvet Teddy

Yep, how cliche of me. But seriously, I bloody love this. In my post on Wednesday (which you can read here) I yapped on about how much it is the perfect "your-lips-but-better" nude and how versatile it is.

It's a MAC lipstick, of course it's going to be faultless.

Read previous post to get the low down on how I wear it and how you *might* just look like a Kylie Jenner doppleganger if you own this - emphasis on the might.

3. Stationery

If you know me well enough, you know how much I am obsessed with  love stationery. From notebooks and pencil cases to post-it notes and felt tips, anything stationery you can through it all my way. And with it being back to school I obvs had to buy all new stationery.

There's a slight black, white and gold theme in this years collection and I'm in laaav with it all. If you're a stationery obsessive like me, you know how thrilling it is to buy new stationery especially when it's for the start of school.

Most of my best stationery purchases have been from TK Maxx, if you're seriously into your notebooks you will no need to go anywhere else because TK Maxx is the one.

The white and gold clipboard that you can see in the photo is from TK Maxx and it also comes with a pad of paper inside as well. The white and gold chevron notebook is actually from Home Bargains and cost something ridiculously cheap like 99p but look how well they match each other!!! *insert a million heart eye emojis*.

The pencilcase is actually a reuse from last year (I know what am I doing) and was from H&M for £3.99. It has lasted me so well and fits way more than I actually need. Plus the gold engraving of the word "PENCILS" just makes it fit my theme and look that extra bit cool.

4. Rings

I've always wanted to be that person who's fingers are covered in rings but I literally can't handle more than five because I start playing with them and thay fall off and there's not really that much point. But when I stumbled across these bad boys in H&M for only 50p each in the sale (I know SO megz cheap) I obvs had to get them.

I've got quite small hands and so I can never find any jewellery for my hands to fit but H&M has always got my back because they stock size XS/S (lol this is the only ever time that something I wear is a small). These rings were all size XS/S and are a mixture of midi and normal sized rings and look perfect on my fingers.

I tend to always steer towards dainty rings and these ones (especially the gold ones with pearls) are my absolute faves.

5. Heeled Boots

Now it's Autumn it's only right that I buy myself a pair of AW boots, right?

Well anyway, I picked up these sleek black boots from New Look a few weeks ago as said AW boots and I am in luuurrrrvv.

I'm a major pointed shoe whore and always opt for a pointed shoe when I can and when I saw that these bad boys were pointed I put them straight in my basket.

They're such a classic shaped shoe and the point just add that extra touch of sophistication to an already classy shoe. The heel isn't a bad height also but can be a bit uncomfortable when wearing them on a 6 hour shift.

Defo have a look on the New Look website for these bad boys and make them your AW staple shoe for this year.

6. Mistakes Were Made (but not by me) By Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson

It's not that often (quite rare infact) that I read a book, let alone include on in my Friday faves but a few have made it into some of my Friday Faves in the past and this week I've got a book to share with you all.

It's not a fiction book and probably a book that only a select few people might find interesting but I just have to share it.

I'm studying Psychology for on of my A Levels and after being suggested to do some outside reading around the subject I picked up this (and two other books, lol eager) in the library. The thing that got me interested was the title of the book, the synopsis and the way that it is kinda really relatable (plus the picture is quite funny too but y'know can't judge a book by it's cover and all).

To cut a long story short (eyy see what I did there) this book was written by renowned social psychologists Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson and the book looks into how the brain is wired for self-justification and it asks and answers questions such as Why do people dodge responsibility when things go wrong? and Are we all liars?

If you study Psychology or the brain and the reasons why we do things interests you, then I defo recommend this book. Not only is it a really interesting read, it's written so well that it's hard to put down (lol why am I sounding like I love books).

You can buy it here on Amazon.

And that concludes my Friday Faves for this week!

Thank you for reading!

Autumn has got to be my favourite time of the year.

Not only because it's the season of my birthday (FYI it's 17th September if ya want to get me a little something something) but also because Autumnal fashion is by far my fave - soz Summer, you suck.

It's the season of chunky knits, COATS AND JACKETS <3 <3 <3, boots (heeled ones obvs), fur and my fave thing of all, roll necks. Autumn fashion is just damn amazing.

This season, and already hitting the highstreet shops, are a few familiar pieces that have snuck their way into AW15 and made a much appreciated comeback. The colour scheme for the upcoming months sets to be a mixture of browns, camel, grey and khaki and all of the above are colours that are slowly creeping into my wardrobe too.

So put on your fluffy socks, snuggle up under a blanket and grab yourselves a cuppa and read on...

1. FUR FUR FUR

Fur coats. Fur scarves. Fur trims. The lot. Fur is back and better than ever.

The highstreet has already had an influx of fur gilets ready for the season ahead (cough cough proud owner of two over here) and more fur is on it's way. Be prepared to lust over the classic fur coats again set to be popular in your standard black, brown and cream as well as daring mink. As well as the iconic fur coats, fur scarves are the perfect transitional piece to get you right through from the beginning of Autumn right round up to Spring of 2016. Through on over a plain white tee and leather pants and you're good to go.

Fur trimmed leather jackets are also making a comeback and their yearly appearance in highstreet shops has already begun (see Topshop and Primark for said beauties). Adding to the already long list of fur; bags and clutch bags in particular are being giving a fluffy makeover and are a statement accessory for AW15. Fluff up a simple monochrome outfit with a mink fur clutch for a simple and trendy Autumnal look.

2. The Smart Jacket

Trench coats, tailored blazers and longline dusters are all a key essential to get you through Autumn and Winter this year. These smart style jackets will dress up any outfit and paired with trainers, you can create a smart sporty look.

Keep the jackets in classic colours to ensure that each piece will be timeless. Try light wash camel, greys, navy and khaki for a chic touch to an outfit. Pair with cigarette trousers and loafers for the ultimate look.

3. Chunky Knits

This isn't a trend as such, but chunky knits are a AW staple and here's some of my faves.

For the perfect on trend throwover, grab yourself a chunky roll neck knitted jumper and combine two trends in one - clever, eh?!

4. Suede

That 70's vibe is back and appearing in all different pieces of clothing. From skirts, to thigh high boots, dresses and jackets, suede will soon be making a dent in your wardrobe. Most high street stores are stocking up on suedette (faux suede) and in bright and bold colours. Mustard, rust, burgundy and brown are some of the more popular colours and worn with an all black ensemble they subtling inject texture and colour.

Try and stick to one suede (or suedette) piece per outfit unless you're feeling really brave. Zara has got some awesome pieces at the moment and a few of their suede pieces even have tassels too - how 70's.

5. Pointed Shoes

This includes flats as well as heels. As a firm lover of a pointed shoe, the fact that they're on trend has got me hella excited. A pointed shoes just adds that extra touch of sophistication into an outfit and whether you opt for flat, a slight block heel or a stiletto heel, get your hands on some pointed shoes and give your feet a classy makeover.

6. Sleeveless Blazers

If you haven't seen a sleeveless blazer by now, umm babe what have you been doing?!

These bad boys have already made their way into the high street in tailored and slouchy varieties. They're the perfect transitional piece and can be worn with a basic tee for when the weather's warmer or a chunky roll neck for a more cooler day. Play it safe and stick to white, camel, khaki and black to ensure you can mix and match colours with ease underneath.

And that's my top 6 AW15 upcoming trends that you need to look out for!

Thanks for reading!

Long time no blog, I know.

In the (long) time it's been since I jammed a few sentences together, threw in some witty humour and iPhone 6 quality photos, I've collected a fair amount of makeup and I'm here today to share it with you. I've collected a fair amount of high-end and drugstore makeup over the last few weeks and surprisingly ALL are part of my go-to makeup and products that I frequently use (which is always a good thing). And so without further ado, here's not only my New in: Makeup post, but my first (real) back to blogging post...

YSL Touche Éclat in Shade 2

Way back when in June when I jetted off to Spain for a weeks work experience I failed to pick up this cult beauty product at duty free and told myself that on my next holiday I had to snap it up for a bargain at duty free.

So when it came around to the end of July when I went on holiday to Majorca I managed to purchase this bad boy for a fab price.

The gold packaging of the product is obvs TO DIE FOR and the fact that it is a clicky pen is just SO fun. On a less aesthetic note, the product itself is faultless. It perfectly covers dark undereye circles as well as any kind of blemish and all in one click this bad boy conceals, highlights and adds radiance to your face, all without feeling cakey or too heavy.

I chose shade 2 which is a tad lighter than I would normally be matched for for concealer but by going a shade lighter is really helps ito illuminate your face and counteract undereye circles. If this iconic beauty pen isn't in your makeup bag yet, then I suggest you head on down to your nearest YSL counter and snap it up asap.

C'mon it's iconic, how could you not?!

Dior Addict Fluid Sticks in Shade 379 Tropiques and Shade 779 Plaisir

I have my dear friend Annie to thank for these. As well as these two beauties she also gave me a whole stash of Dior eyeshadows, bronzers and powders but more of that to come later.

These two fluid sticks are basically the love child of a lipstick and a lip gloss. The constituency of the product is a little thicker than your usual lipgloss but unlike most lipglosses the colour is more rich and opaque. These two colour in particular are gorgeous and apply to your lips with ease.

With a single sweep you get the longwear of a lipstick mixed with a vibrant and a sheen of gloss. The colour lasts all day and really are a cut above your basic lipgloss.

As well as being longwearing, super pigmented and coming in gorgeous shades; the Fluid Sticks are also very aesthetically pleasing. The silver and transparent packaging is so chic and something that would still look good rolling around in the bottom of your handbag.

If you're a Dior fan or fancy giving your lips a new lease of life go and buy these beauties.

You can buy them here.

MAC Lipstick in Velvet Teddy

Yes I know the whole Kylie Jenner, matte nude lip and Velvet Teddy hype was months ago and yes, I know I am (very) late onto the bandwagon but here me out. I'm the type of person who likes to wait for the initial excitement to go down before I make up my mind and try new products and so I thought a few months after said hype was about the right time to get my Velvet Teddy on.

And so the other day on a girly shopping trip with my bffl Scarlett, we popped into MAC to fulfill my "I need a new lipstick" moment. I was looking for a "your lips but better" kinda shade and 14 swatches later I picked up this bad boy and without even knowing the name of it, I knew I had found the one I wanted.

It fits the bill of "your lips but better" perfectly as well as giving you the look of a browny/nude lip - which is one that I also steer towards most days. It lasts all day with a few touches up here and there and can be dabbed onto the lips ot create a subtle nude lip or applied more thicker for a full on KJ inspired (minus the fillers) lip look.

You can buy it here on the MAC website (and no, it is not out of stock).

Maybelline The Eraser Eye Concealer in Nude

This is a repurchase for me and something that ever since I found it (well over 4 years ago) I've always loved. Apart from the apparent unhygienic sponge applicator, the click twist action for product is convenient and the actual product itself is super lightweight as well as being full coverage.

Like the Touche Eclat, it's perfect for covering dark under eye circles as well as blemishes and uneven skin tone. I always repurchase this in the shade Nude as I find Light to be too light for my complexion and with Nude I can use it to cover and conceal.

This little drugstore beauty lasts for a long time and one twist can cover your undereyes as well as blemishes (this depends on the size of your face though).

Purchase it here.

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation in Sand 30

Who remembers way back when in my Friday Faves on the 12th of June when I mentioned the concealer version of this duo? Well have a read here to familiarise yourself with it.

I was obsessed with the Superstay concealer and raved about how much I loved it and that I even used it as a foundation because it was THAT good. Well guys, I bought it in the foundation form. And HELLO new fave foundation.

I wasn't wrong (lol when am I ever) when I assumed the Superstay Better Skin foundation would be as good good as the concealer and I'm so glad it is. The medium coverage is so blendable and the range of shades makes it so easy to find one that fits your skin perfectly (even though I do add a touch of fake tan to give me a *slightly* more orange bronzed look). It's one of the only foundations that I own that actually lasts a decent amount of time - it can withstand a 7 hour shift and that's saying something!

So all-in-all, this foundation is up there with my faves and something that I defo recommend for all you combination skin type girls and medium coverage lovers.

Buy it here.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Cool Medium 2

Seriously, if I had a pound for everytime I've mentioned this on my blog I would literally be rolling in it. The iconic collection concealer has featured on my blog more times than pictures of my face and here it is again for all you read and pretend like you've never seen me mention before.

Yeah so this concealer is FAB and another re-re-re-repurchase from Superdrug (FYI it's on offer in Boots right now). It does what it says on the tin and really is Lasting Perfection.

This concealer is the only thing I ever buy from Collection and really is the only ever thing you'll need to buy from collection - unless you really do need glitter eyeliner.

You know the drill with this one, it's full coverage makes it mask spots, redness and big black.........bags under your eyes which aint nobody got time for. Plus it's also my go-to concealer for under my eyebrows to really define them and make it look like your eyebrows are on fleek.

You can buy it here from Boots for £3.99 (woo save 20p).

CID Cosmetics  i-Volume Mascara

This was one of those magazine freebies that wasn't actually that bad. CID Cosmetics is a brand that is new to me and one that I'm not to familiar with so by trying out one of their products courtesy of Cosmo was a perfect way to see what they're like.

The packaging is sleek and obvs looks good in photos (cos durh, that's what it's all about) and the product itself isn't too bad. The wand isn't the plastic one which I tend to go to and the consistency of the formula is fab too. It's not as defining as I'd like it to be but does wonders for volume in your lashes. On occasion it can be quite clumpy but I always pair it with L'Oreal's Volume Million Lashes to add a touch of definition and separate my lashes.

Overall it's a fairly good product and for free, I can't really complain.

You can pick it up here on feelunique.

Aaaaaand we've made it. My first back to blogging post has finally come to an end (please don't cry). Be sure to follow me on Twitter to keep up to date with all my posts to come!

Thank you for reading!
