Friday Faves: 3rd July 2015

Wait what.

Where did June go?

How is it July already?!

Haha it's bikini season already haha are you JULYING.

Stop Bethany.

Bit srsly JULY.

Anyway.

Firstly I'd like to apologise for yesterday's post - well lack of. Yeah that's right, we're not all perfect and I didn't get round to posting anything. I've been crazy busy recently and time got the better of me and I didn't end up publishing anything, I'm sorry guys.

But with yesterday's matters aside, I'm back now with a Friday Faves for you all to enjoy.

The Chocolate Lovers Club By Carole Matthews

Yes, it is a book. Yes it's an actual grown up book. Probs my first ever "grown up book" I have ever read but looking at the size of it, probs the only one I'll ever read. My mum gave me this a while ago and told me I should read it, but little did I know that it was about chocolate. Yeah I know the title kinda gives it away (or basically tells you the whole story) but I didn't think that chocolate would be mentioned that much - I just thought it was a metaphor or something.

But no, this book has the word 'chocolate' in it more times than there are full stops.

And for a choc-o-holic like me who is trying to be remotely summer body ready for my holiday which is in 27 days, this isn't helping. Nuh uh. Not one bit. But aside from the fact that it mentions every kind of chocolate in the world and therefore every kind of brown sugary craving you have, it's a fab book. The way it is written just makes you want to scream it's so good. A classic chick-lit like this is something you'd pass on to friends for sure.

You can buy it here on Amazon for 1p!!!!!

If you're a female and you like love chocolate as well as having strong self control, you'll love this book.

Nakd Salted Caramel Fruit and Nut Nibbles

I'm a big fan of Nak(e)d products (Urban Decay as well as the food kind - durh) and when I saw these in Boots the other day, I had to give them a try. And as you can see by the empty packaging, I loved them.

They're guilt free which makes consuming them even though you've just had lunch a doddle. They're basically squidgy pieces of salted caramel and nutty fruit heaven and a perfect handbag snack - or the kind of snack you eat whilst looking for another snack.

I can't fault these at all and like the rest of the Nakd products they're delish.

Sun

Yeah that's right, that hot ball of glowing gases floating above you right now, that's in this weeks faves. Regardless of the fact that the Sun keeps us alive and without it we'd die, it's in my faves for, I guess you could say, a slightly different reason.
The Sun (as in the star that orbits the Earth, not the tabloid newspaper) is in my faves for making an appearance this week. As you may know, by your dodgy tan lines or by reading the news or you know maybe sweltering in 30 degree temperatures, that this week has been a scorcher. Wednesday was the hottest day for 9 years and although that may have given me a S.U.L.A for the most part of the day, I didn't mind.
Finally England has been given the Sun it deserved and I'm thankful. The Sun always brightens (see what I did there) your mood and when a day is sunny, the day is a good day.

So yeah thanks Sun for making an appearance, you babe.

Primark Hooped Earrings

How ghetto of me to include these in this weeks faves.

Unless you're adamant that hoop earrings are only for the "chav" or "gypsy" kind of people, then think again because this classic and timeless accessory is making a hoop shaped come back and I've jumped on the bandwagon.

I picked up these sets when in Primark and at under £2 each, I didn't think twice. Not only till I got home did I remember that I hadn't worn earrings in a good 5 years so my reasoning behind buying them was potentially scuppered. Nevertheless, I tried to squeeze them in and surprisingly my ears hadn't closed up - winner winner chicken dinner.

They're probably not something I'd wear on a day-to-day basis purely because I jolt my head around a lot and I'm scared that these will hoop onto something and my rip ears in half, nice. My vision is to wear these with my hair slicked back into a low pony and a lot on holiday.

For £1 you really can't go wrong.

Kiehls Overnight Concentrate

Ahh Kiehls. Expensive but well worth the money. Kiehls is a new brand to add to the list of brands that I've tried. And this overnight concentrate is something I swear by.

I added it into My Evening Skincare Routine and religiously use it daily. It has made my skin feel so much more soft and hydrated and I don't know how it works, but it just does.

There's not much more to say than that really. If your skin needs some plumping and bringing back to life, then I really recommend trying it out.

And that's all for this weeks Friday Faves and once again sorry for there not being a post yesterday but tomorrow's post is a double whammy and you're gonna love it!
