Okay so maybe this is a tad too early to be going up but hey ho, it'll give you enough time to purchase your make up essentials for the school year ahead.

The morning before school is always rushed. Whether it's your alarm clock's fault or not, that extra 30 minutes in bed wouldn't have been worth it if you're left with 10 minutes to get ready. We've all been there - admit it. Whether you have five, ten or even fifteen minutes to dedicate purely to your makeup, the following routines should fit your needs.

The Quickie (5 Minute Make Up)

Multitasking is key when you only have 5 minutes to change your face from "Oh dear" to "Oh wow". Quite frankly it seems almost impossible to achieve an acceptable amount of make up in 5 minutes, but here's how...

1) Forget primer, there's no time for that! Your best bet is to apply Max Factor's Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 - wow that was a mouthful. It contains not only a foundation but a primer and concealer in too! Timesaver or?

2) For a quick pop of colour and to take multitasking to a whole new level, use Benefit's Lip and Cheek Stain. Again another product that contains more than you bargained for!

3) On a tight schedule there's no time for numerous coats of mascara, one coat of Volume Million Lashes By L'oreal Paris will do the job. Starting from the root to tip, twist the brush as you go to achieve length and volume.

And voila, there you have it, a 5 minute face with 3 products. Now the day won't be as bad as you anticipated.

The One Snooze Too Many (10 Minute Make Up)

Okay, so maybe you did hit snooze "accidentally" when your arm flew out from the covers and precisely tapped the button. Anyway, there's 10 minutes for your face and your face only and boy, a lot can be done in 10 minutes...

1) Now there's time for primer, only if it's a quick dab here and a dab there. Try Urban Decay's Complextion Primer because it contains no silicone and helps foundation stay that little bit longer.

2) With no time for powder, a matte foundation is in order! Whether it's Nars Sheer Matte or a drugstore equivalent, a matter finish will leave you with a less dewy and "oily" look, perfect for a long day ahead.

3) Maybe you did stay up a little too late last night, and the bags under your eyes are, well let's just say they're not designer for sure! A swipe of concealer under the eye is definitely a must! Why not have a quick dab on any blemishes as well.

4) To give those tired eyes a pop and spring into the day ahead, swipe across a cream eyeshadow to brighten up your face. Why not try one of Bobbi Brown's cream eyeshadow, they're highly pigmented and long lasting, perfect!

5) If you're on a tight schedule, something's got to give. This time it's mascara. Again a single coat is fine and leaves you with more time to focus on other areas.

6) Last but not least, pair your cream eyeshadow with a colour on your lip. Clinique's Chubby Stick in Whoppin Watermelon will not only give a pop of colour but also moisturises your lips too!

There you have it, a slightly longer yet still super speedy make up routine for all those "just ten more minutes" sleepyheads.

The Just Gimme A Minute (15 Minute Make Up)

So now we've got the most time out of all, well by 5 minutes. With no time to loose, let's begin...

1) Repeat Step 1 of The 10 Minute Make Up and evenly apply primer to your skin.

2) With more time to hand, a radiant foundation with a more sheer coverage will give you a flawless finish - don't worry, if it gets too dewy you can always whack out some powder and a good old kabuki.

3) Concealer is a must no matter what. A swipe under the eye, a couple dabs on any blemishes and you're good to go.

4) With your face already glowing from the radiant foundation, the time to contour is upon us. Using Real Techniques Contour Brush, brush on your favourite bronzer into the hollow of your cheeks, along the hairline and under the jawline - you're now basically Kim Kardashian.

5) Repeat Step 5 of The 10 Minute Make Up but this time allow yourself more than a single coat - go on, treat yourself.

6) With neglect to the eyebrows before, a quick groom, shape and fill won't hurt anybody.

7) Swap the lip balm for a lipstick (that's if you're brave enough) and apply as many coats as desired. Why not try a lip stain, that'll definitely stay put throughout a whole day at school.

15 minutes to achieve a flawless face is done and well and truly dusted.

This concludes my Back To School Make Up routines. Stay tuned for a not one, not two, not three, but five part Back To School Special coming soon.

Today, my Dad took my brother and I out for lunch to one of our favourite places, The Curlew. It's almost like a family tradition to go here on a special occasion and considering my Mum has gone away on holiday, my Dad thought it would be a nice treat to go for lunch. The building itself is an old farmhouse slash inn, now renovated into a pub and what they call "vintage inns". Since the British weather has picked itself up again and is borderline hot it was acceptable to sit outside and enjoy the sun. The Curlew is a lovely place to go whatever the weather as seating inside is great too!
I treated myself to their "Scampi Medley" aka Scampi & Chips and my favourite of sparkling cranberry to drink. The service is great and the staff are always happy to help with anything, even if you want ice cream in your coke - my brother for example. For dessert I ordered the "Toffee Sundae with Churros" minus the cinnamon sugar - yuck! It was a mighty way to end a lovely lunchtime out with my Dad and brother.
If you're ever looking for a place to eat out, especially if you're with your family, head to The Curlew!

What's your favourite place to eat?

Being a passionate blogger and dedicated YouTube watcher, I'm surprised I haven't done a "favourites" post...ever! So since I've been buying and trying new products, rekindling my love for oldies, I thought this would be the perfect time to write a favourites post!

The Beauty Bits

Ever since the whole craze about Micellar Water leaked onto the beauty blogging world a few months back, everyone (including myself) has ditched the wipes for cotton pads and has become obsessed with the new way to remove makeup. If you've tried it, you've got to admit how much better it is! Goodbye to the I've-just-taken-my-makeup-off-and-my-face-is-now-bright-red face! My first Micellar purchase was L'OREAL's take on the cleansing water and it worked a treat, however in life things run out and it was time to buy another. This time I opted for Garnier's version which was double in size yet half the price! The 400ml bottle claims to serve 200 uses, so I won't be needed to re-purchase this for a long time then! All in all, it does the job, it's more cost effective and saves you having to keep restocking makeup wipes - winner!

Next is something that I actually got for my birthday last September and the catalyst to my makeup obsession. The Naked Basics palette is a sleek, pocket-sized piece of heaven. Urban Decay have cleverly picked 6 shades which can be worn right from a simple everyday eye to a killer smokey eye in the evening - hardly basic! The reason as to why it's become one of my favourites for July is all down to my eyebrows. My eyebrows and I have never got along, and to cut a long story short I've only started filling them in recently (well since my Bobbi Brown Makeover). To fill them in I've been using "Faint" from the Basics Palette which is the perfect shade for my eyebrows! Before that, I sort of neglected the palette and tended to use my 32 piece natural palette from e.l.f. for everyday eyeshadow. So when I resurrected this bad boy I realised the gorgeous colours I'd been missing out on! Not only are the colours on point but they are highly pigmented and work well together too! And because of that, it had to be a contender in this months favourites.

P.S. As you can see I've hit pan on Naked 2!

The penultimate beauty favourite is something that every girl should own, no question about it. Of course what I'm talking about is Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer! You may recognise it from it's iconic packaging which, unlike the name itself, isn't lasting perfection. The amount of times I've raved about this is beyond me but I have good reason to! The saviour is under £5 and comes out on top of all drugstore concealers. It covers spots like a dream and as for dark circles, well they're something of the past sister! (Forgive me for that please.). Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer will probably be in every months favourites until something tops it- can you understand how good it is yet?!

To conclude the beauty favourites is my alternative to fake tanning 24/7. I've recently discovered, thanks to my Mum, Dove's Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion, which is basically a moisturiser with a subtle gradual self-tanner. I've used this 3 times since purchasing and have already bean to see a difference! I'm not the biggest fan of sunbathing and have ruined too many white bed sheets to continue using fake tan, so it was about time to switch and give a gradual tanner a go. No turning back - well not for a while!

The Foodie Bits

Pit stops at the M&S in my local town centre have always been a thing for my Mum and I. A lunch break is always much needed after a couple hours of intense shopping (especially with all the sales on!) and where else would we go. Other than if I make them, the only place I'll eat sandwiches is M&S, who could say no to an Avocado, Pine Nut and Spinach with Wholemeal Bread Sandwhich! The other day we both thought we'd try something new so we picked up their new Beetroot Vinagrette Crisps and Watermelon & Coconut White Tea. Uh hello food porn! Both the crisps and drink were heavenly! I'm not a massive crisp fan myself but these were a crisp I'd happily eat. And as for the drink, well I've think I've just found my new obsession. The 250ml bottle was great so of course I had to go back and buy the 750ml - obviously!

This concludes my first ever favourites post and my favourites of July. Hope you've enjoyed it!

What are you July Favourites?

No, I'm not asking for naked pictures, I swear! But really asking for the various ways nude is making an appearance into AW14. After completing my daily browse on the Zara website, I noticed their new nude segment entitled Nude Collection, and thought to myself, how am I going to wear Nude this upcoming AW?
You can't go wrong with nude, it's timeless, flattering (in most cases) and easy peasy!

A Nude Lip

Seen in a recent post where I managed to grab myself some makeup freebies from Topshop, the goody bag contained a nude lipstick - perfect! Still on the fence whether I like or loath lipstick on me, I'm on the way to persuading myself to actually wear this nude shade. The shade itself is called Nevada and is a gorgeous colour but be careful because overuse can make it look like foundation lips - a big no no!

A Nude Heel

Every girl should own a simple, elegant and versatile pair of heels, it's just a must! A big fan of Zara's basic collection, and well just Zara in general, I managed to pick up a pair of heels that ticks those boxes a while back and can honestly say I've worn them at least once a week since purchasing them. As you can see, they've had better days and have truly been worn in! They're ultra comfy which is key and can been paired with almost anything! From a pair of light washed ripped jeans to a white midi skirt, nude heels can't get anymore versatile!

A Nude Jumper

You're going to have to face the facts that sooner or later (hopefully sooner) the weather is going to get cooler and Autumn will be amongst us and that means, chunky knitwear, coats, boots, the whole lot! A contender in Zara's Nude Collection is this very cosy looking roll neck jumper. Perfect to chuck on over a pair of jeans when the temperature drops, this effortless knitwear still looks classy and on trend - well of course it would, it's Zara!

A Nude Bag

Whether it'll be a handbag or a clutch, a tote or a shopper, a city bag or even a backpack, you can't go wrong with a nude bag. For a day out or a night out, a nude hodal on your arm will certainly keep any outfit classy, chic and effortless.

Make sure you go and check out Zara's Nude Collection whether that be online or in store, but make sure any purchases are purse friendly!

Hope you enjoyed this, stay tuned for more.

How will you wear nude this AW14?

Dupes aren't really my thing, I believe if you want it, you should save up for it especially if it's a handbag or purse. In this case, it's neither (thank God), the dupe in question itself is Lidl's newest perfume, Suddenly Diamonds. Yes, I did just say Lidl. Over the past couple of years, Lidl has been thrown in the spotlight for their dupes of high end perfumes. Ever since I purchased their supposed Coco Mademoiselle dupe titled Suddenly Madame Glamour, I've been eager to try their next one. Some people feel hesitant when it comes to supermarkets "own label" beauty products, especially perfumes, as they predict it to be an imitation of the expensive equivalent. However, Lidl perfumes are such remarkable copies of the designer brand that you can't really tell the difference - except the packaging. The perfume itself has a bright citrus opening, followed by a syrupy orange-y haze closely behind and lingers as a musky fragrance. In comparison to the BOSS Orange, Lidl's version is less fruity and a more heavier, deeper register. The resemblance is compelling really, the difference is almost unrecognisable and for £3.99 what's the big deal! Next to Marc Jacobs' Lola and Versace's Bright Crystal, oh a Lidl's Suddenly Mademoiselle Glamour (of course), this BOSS Orange dupe has certainly made it onto my dressing table and of course onto my favourite perfumes list.

If you have a Lidl near you, go and check it out for yourself and have a good ol' spritz in the shop!

Stay peeled (get it?) for more posts to come soon.
