Spending The Day At DFMA

Yesterday I was lucky enough to model at Davinia Fermi Makeup Academy (read more about the academy here) for my cousins final piece. She has been studying there on a week long fashion, TV and bridal makeup course and in order for her to graduate, she had to demonstrate the skills and techniques that she has learnt and produce one final piece.

I was fortunate enough to be her model for the day and for her final piece she created an editorial look on me with a dark smokey eye and nude lip.

The makeup used ranged from DFMA makeup from the academy as well as MAC, Bobbi Brown and Urban Decay.

Here's some of the makeup:

Face

MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation in NC25 and NC35
Bobbi Brown Concealer in Beige

MAC Prep & Primer Pressed Powder
Ben Nye Luxury Banana Powder
DFMA Setting Powder
theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter
Laura Mercier Bronzing Powder
MAC Blush in Pinch O' Peach

Eyes

Urbay Decay Naked 2 Palette
MAC Shimmer Pigment in Naked Deep Dark
MAC Pencil Eyeliner in Black
Diorshow Mascara in Black

Lips

MAC Lipstick in Yash
MAC Lipliner in Spice

After she had completed the look and was happy with the finished product, a professional photographer snapped some photos which I will be able to show you in a few weeks time.

So overall I had a wonderful day and I can now happily say that my cousin did graduate and is now an official makeup artist!

  1. Components printed with Carbon’s technology are on par with injection molded parts. Digital Light Synthesis produces constant and predictable mechanical properties, creating parts which are be} really isotropic. DLP or Digital Light Processing refers to a technique of printing that makes use satin panties of light and photosensitive polymers. While it is extremely similar to SLA, the important thing} difference is the light supply.
