New Makeup Products To Look Out For

Nothings better than new things, especially when it comes to makeup. New makeup will send any makeup obsessed girl into a frenzy and with the mentality of "I NEED THAT". And it seems that the next few months are going to be 1) Full of new makeup  and 2) Detrimental to your bank balance - I guess you can't always win.

Recently on social media, brands have been posting sneak peeks of what's set to arrive into departments and drug stores in the next couple of months. In this post I'll be giving you the lowdown on what to expect making an appearance on the makeup scene. And ultimately what you're likely to see in your makeup storage by the end of this Summer.

Here goes...

First is New Look. Now unbeknownst to me, I was completely unaware that New Look sold makeup. New Look selling makeup?!?! Yes I know. First of all it was Topshop then closely followed by Primark and now New Look! What's next? River Island?

Anyway, the small stands they have in most of their stores is set to change as they branch out and include more products other than nail varnishes, lip liners and bronzers. Watch this space because you never know, a few months down the line the whole contents of your makeup bag may all be New Look.
Next is something that I'm the most excited about. With the release only around the corner, the 27th June will be a big day for all you Benefit lovers. That's right. A new release from Benefit. Not just one product. No. But a new set containing a new product that won't be available until 2016!

The Benefit "Do The Hoola Kit" is a five-piece kit contain well known favourites such as the Hoola Bronzer itself, Benebalm, Ultra Plush Lip Gloss, They're Real Mascara and wait for it. A Dew The Hoola.

What is Dew The Hoola you may be asking? Well this is a liquid take on the iconic Hoola Bronzer. By taking a squirt onto your fingertips and applying evenly to your face of just on your under the cheekbones for contouring, you can have an effortlessly flawless face that looks radiant and dewy. If you're not excited for this then I don't know what you will be!

With one week to go before the big release, the kit which retails for only £25 is certainly something to get your hands on!

Two words. Naked Palette. No not the basics, not the basics 2, or the first, second or third Naked Palette, I'm talking about another one. Yes, Urban Decay have done it again and are bringing out yet another eyeshadow palette in their Naked range.

"Naked Smoky" is set to be released on July 8th and is something which you *probably* need in your lives. The new palette contains 9 new shades (if you thought you didn't need this, then think again) and as the palette's name suggests this contains all the shades you need to create the ultimate smoky eye.

From neutral browns, to grey's of every shade (not fifty shades unfortunately) and even purple's - the new Naked Smoky palette will up your smoky eye game from zilch to 10000 in just a sweep of a (blending) brush.

At at a reasonable £38, this is a must-have this summer.

Here's the lowdown on what shades are inside:

  • High Champagne shimmer with micro-glitter (New)
  • Dirtysweet Medium bronze (New)
  • Radar Metallic taupe with iridescent micro-glitter (Vice 2)
  • Armor Metallic silver-taupe with tonal sparkle (Vice)
  • Slanted Light metallic gray (New)
  • Dagger Medium charcoal with micro-shimmer (New)
  • Black Market Jet black satin (Vice)
  • Smolder Deep plum-taupe (New)
  • Password Cool taupe matte (New)
  • Whiskey Rich brown matte (New)
  • Combust Soft pink-taupe (New)

And that's all for today.

I hope you've enjoyed this and just quick side-note, apologies to all your bank balances for the next couple of months.
