Majorca: Day 1 & 2

So if you haven't already guessed from my holiday spam across all my social media platforms (including the title of this post), I'm in Majorca.

My Mum and I are here on a girly holiday soaking up some rays, bagsying sunbeds and eating our body weight in croissants every morning - we're on holiday, we're allowed to.

We're staying at an amazing hotel with facilities that you'd only dream of UK hotels to have. There's a spa with and ice cave (a bloody ice cave, I know!), five pools (including an infinity pool) and every single food you can think of (I'm not even joking) as well the gluten and dairy free version of it. There's palm trees and instagrammable plants everywhere you look so you could say I'm pretty chuffed.

On Thursday, the first day we got here, we were greeted with freshly squeezed orange juice and shown to our all white and marble room - it's the little things, it really is. After unpacking we headed to the Bistro for some much needed lunch.

We had woken up at 4 o'clock that morning to catch our 7am flight and the only thing in our bellies were Belvita breakfast biscuits and Haribos. So as you can imagine, we treated ourselves to 12 o'clock cocktails as well as a delish grilled goats cheese salad and calamari - when on holiday and that. After we were substantiationally full we thought it would be right to explore the hotel and see what it had to offer.

We took a trip around the complex (which I'm pretty sure is bigger than five IKEA's) and found the gym, the spa (which FYI I'm planning to use its faculties to the max) as well as secluded seating areas and a panoramic roof top bar - more of that later. We also explored around and outside of the complex, stopping for typical tourist photos obvs and sourcing out places eat.

With the beach only a 5 minute walk away we took our time and strolled on down to have a look at what Majorca has to offer. The photos don't really do the place any justice but when ever can they when the experience and the fact of actually being here is what it's all about.

After the trip to the beach we found a perfect spot to have a couple hours of sunbathing before heading back to our room to get ready for the evening.

We then indulged in a lovely meal and a few drinks later we found ourselves up on the Panoramic roof top bar clutching a Sex On The Beach. The views were incredible. Like really incredible.

The next day began with breakfast outside in the sun before we headed off to the weekly local market. We strolled along and bought some churros because y'know, when in Spain and all. We stopped off at the beach on the way back before having a cheeky splurge in Mango.

The afternoon saw us sunbathing and having a dip in the pool as well as making use of the gym and spa which included an Ice Cave, Therma and Hammam.

After the meal that evening, we headed to the Panoramic bar (again) and drank cocktails whilst overlooking Majorca.

That's all for today!
