Recipe: Chocolate Iced Coffee

I'm a coffee lover.

Always have, always will be.

But more specifically, I'm an iced coffee lover.

Me and iced coffee go together like beans on toast - aka perfect.

I'd love to say that I can function on a day-to-day basis without it but sadly then I'll be lying.

Anyway I thought it was about time I jazzed up my regular cold drink for something a bit more special. And what more perfect to add than my fave thing in the world (except pugs because y'know im obsessed but you can't put a pug in a drink), chocolate.

After a little inspo from Cosmo, I've created a little something that basically is chocolate and milk ice cubes.

Here me out okay.

As the weathers getting hotter, it's about time to swap your hot coffee for something a little more thirst quenching and refreshing. And here's what you can do.

Ingredients

Milk (I've used Soya milk but any milk is fine)
Chocolate
Coffee

Method

Begin by breaking up the bits of chocolate and evenly distributing in the ice cube tray.

Next pour in the milk, ensuring that it's level throughout.

Pop it into the freezer and leave it for around 5 hours or ideally overnight.

When the cubes are ready, fill a glass with about 4 or 5 cubes and then fill with coffee.

You can either use hot or chilled coffee but I've found that it works best with chilled coffee and an extra glug of milk.

Pop in a straw, sit back and enjoy.

This sweet and chocolately coffee infused drink is the perfect answer to a hot summers day and tastes delish - if I do say so myself.

If you have it hot, the chocolate pieces will melt and give your coffee and chocolatey tang but if you have it cold, you'll get a chocolately suprise when you finish.

I hope you enjoy and let me know if you try it out!

Thank you for reading!
