What's In My Travel Bag: Beauty Edition

A follow on from my previous "What's Inside My Travel Bag: Makeup Edition", today's Beauty Edition will show you all my beauty related products that I am taking on holiday with me. From skincare, to beauty tools and necessities, you'll be able to have a nosey into my travel bag and see what essentials I'm taking with me.

With liquid restrictions of 100ml, decanting and limiting myself to what I can bring has been top of my list this week because there's no way I'm getting anything taken off me at the airport NUH UH. NADA. NO.

Basically all beauty related products (except things like tweezers and cotton pads) are all liquid and essential for me to use otherwise my face will look like a pepperoni pizza - and I'm not even kidding - so I've had to pack carefully to ensure that everything I've got to keep me look fab comes with me.

Anyway let's get started...

Skincare

My skincare routine doesn't change too often and I usually stick to what I know to save my skin rather than trying something new which may make my skin totally disagree with it which will leave my face looking like said pepperoni pizza. At the moment I use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for combination to oily skin (which is literally me all over) and this is the best micellar water that I've found which does the job good and proper. I've decanted the 400ml bottle into a 100ml miniature version and praying that this'll be enough to last me a week - I'm sure it will.

Next on my skincare list is Bioré Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser which is my new all time love (thanks to my cousin) and something which I use on the daily (you can read about it HERE) and OH EM EFFING GEE does it work. It's so cooling and refreshing and cleany and ahh. Basically it's really good.

After the wonder that is Bioré Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser, comes the other love of my life which is Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and before this turns into a bloody skincare routine, a decanted version of this is coming with me to Spain. I've raved about my love for this before and you've probably read/heard about it from every other beauty blogger out there but if you want a bit more info about how I use it, you can read that in any of these blog posts.

I'm also taking (in a smaller bottle obvs) is my Garnier Skin Moisture Match which is perfect for my oily skin as it mattifies it and still keeps my skin nice and hydrated.

Handcream

I'm never been the biggest user of handcream until I rediscovered this bad boy and now I'm addicted again. Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Concentrated Cream technically isn't just for your hands and it can be used almost everywhere and if you've used it before, you know it works. Plus it smells amazing and makes you literally want to eat yourself cos you smell so great mmm mmmm. So this is defo coming with me there's no doubt about it.

Lip Balm

This is another product that makes you want to eat yourself. The EOS lip balm in strawberry sorbet is to die for and works like a dream. The spherical shape of it is still a novelty to me and it's one of the reason why I love it. It's my go-to for lip balms forget Carmex or Vaseline, EOS is where it's at.

Makeup Brushes

Okay well technically this is makeup, well kinda. But it's in the beauty edition so whatcha gonna do bout it.

Makeup brushes are the burden of packing because they take up quite a lot of room and I'm not sure if I'll actually use them when I'm away. However it's a risk that I am not willing to take so I've decided to take them to, like my makeup, give me the option to use them. The majority of my makeup brushes are Real Techniques and the rest are just ones that I have accumulated here and there.

Other

The other necessities that I'm taking are; tweezers, eye lash curlers, hairbands, hair brush, cotton pads and cotton buds. They're all things that just slip your mind when packing but now they're packed it's done. Finito.

Hopefully that didn't bore you and congrats if you managed to get to the end of that...awake.

Thank you for reading!
